The first day Alton arrived in 2007 as Dean of the Summit Campuses of Colorado Mountain College, we found a mutual appreciation for Jazz --- and I learned he was a Jazz Drummer!   I said, "Have I got a Jazz Band for you!".  The rest is history.  -Peter

 One summer at Jazz Camp, I was fortunate to play with a number of music professors from the nationally known jazz program at the University of North Texas. When I heard Alton had hired a Saxophonist with a Masters Degree in Jazz from the North Texas Program to teach at Colorado Mountain College I was thrilled.  - Peter
